Gallopagos Island accepting refugees from US Election by

Following decisive victories by Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the South Carolina and Nevada primary elections, it is becoming clear that Pony-party candidate and glorious leader-in-exile Vermin Supreme may not be victorious in the 2016 United States election. This totally unexpected turn of events has lead many pony-party members to flee the country "before shit gets too fucked up".

The sovereign nation of Gallopagos Island has begun accepting political refugees from the "perfect storm of ignorance and social dissonance" that will continue to rage for the next 9 months in its neighboring nation.

Gallopagos Island, which was founded and governed by the /mlp/ board of 4chan, welcomes all pony-party-platform members to its shores, provided they pass the rigorous visa process for entrance. According to governing officials, applicants must: "state their favorite pony, denounce the Equestria Girls franchise, swear an oath of allegiance to Faust, and maybe like, bring some snacks and beer and stuff".

It is uncertain at this time, if Glorious Leader Vermin Supreme will accept his nomination to become the Governor of Gallopagos island in the event of his failure at the polls, though he did express interest in the prospect. in his 2014 interview with Horse News.

Despite finishing 4th in the New Hampshire primary race, political analysts find it unlikely that Supreme will be able to secure the white house this year (especially because there are only 2 sides to a coin, and Hillary Clinton wins on both heads AND tails).

Gallopagos Island has already begun a massive construction project to build a wall around the nation (which is only roughly 20 meters in length). When asked who was going to pay for the wall, government officials looked puzzled and replied; "Us? Wait was that a real question? I mean, who the fuck else would pay to build a wall in our land? You'd have to be some kind of idiot to think someone else would pay to build our own wall."

The wall, according to officials, is not to keep anyone out, but actually just to keep the ponies from wandering away. "We like, need them, and stuff," said one resident. "They like, can't swim very well".

Horse News conducted a poll of readers to learn their thoughts.

At press time, Vermin Supreme still has a better chance of being elected than Jeb Bush.
