Can you feel it? BronyCAN by

So I met a Canadian here in R.O.K. that was from Saskatchewan. He said that he had so many rubber hockey pucks from his youth of just being Canadian, that he gave roughly 300 of them to his friend, to use as a platform for his bed.

Somewhere in this world, a Canadian man is sleeping on an actual bed made of used hockey pucks.

Now that I've told you the most maple-drenched story I've ever heard, let me tell you about this

BronyCAN IV: The Beaver Hunt is coming soon to a friendly neighbor near you. Read all about it below.

As the cold north begins to freeze over and the pony folk flee indoors to safety, two ponies keep the worst at bay. Tirelessly, throughout the winter months, they work to help those endangered or trapped by the relentless northern snows. One uses her light magic, the other...prefers hot gravy.

That’s right, brony brethren, we’re back! We’re happy to announce that BronyCAN is returning for a fourth run in 2016! We’ll be returning to our favourite venue, the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Richmond, between the 19th and 21st of August. Membership registrations are available right now with an earlybird discount, bringing them to just $49 CAD for three days, so register now to save money!

Hotel rooms are also available, using our promo code “BRONYCAN”. Remember to use the code when you register your room, either by phone or online, to get a special discount on the room rate. Details of all the available room types and their costs are on our website. We sell out each year, and this year we have an extra-special $10 off the room rate between now and December 31st, so be sure to book early! Remember, you don’t need to put any money down to book a room; you pay when you check in.

Finally, for all our generous helper ponies, we are accepting submissions for panelists, musicians and staff. To apply for any of these, you can use the forms on our website. Thank you to all who come forward each year to help make BronyCAN awesome.

Vendor applications, guest announcements, our year’s theme and much more are to come, so make sure to follow us on Twitter @BronyCAN, on Facebook at our BronyCAN page, or on Tumblr at ask-bronycan.tumblr.com

That’s about all for now. We hope to see you all in August for another great Canadian pony convention!
