Sony, the company which created the film "The Interview" and was subsequently hacked by a group known as the "Guardians Of Peace" last year, has become the target of a massive document dump on the infamous website known as "WikiLeaks". The website, which typically plays host to leaked government files of dubious classification, is in this instance publishing the stolen emails and documents of a corporation.
Among the emails which we cannot publish here for obvious legal reasons, are conversations regarding the upcoming My Little Pony film in production by Allspark Studios.
Unvetted discussion of the documents on 4chan suggests that Sony may be involved in distribution of the film in some way, though it is clear that nothing is set in stone at this time. Other information supposedly includes potential plot details and production timelines.
According to numerous major news outlets, Sony says it "vehemently disagrees" with the assertion that the material belongs in the public domain.
"The cyber-attack on Sony Pictures was a malicious criminal act, and we strongly condemn the indexing of stolen employee and other private and privileged information on WikiLeaks. The attackers used the dissemination of stolen information to try to harm SPE and its employees, and now WikiLeaks regrettably is assisting them in that effort."
All information about the contents of these emails was gathered from 4chan, a site which carries the following disclaimer: "The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact."
