Remember the "Bronies" documentary? The one that got pirated like all digital media, and John DeLancie ragequit twitter forever because of it? The one that raised an absurd amount of funding ($322,022 out of $60,000 needed)? Apparently, it's back.
Here we go again.
According to an update on the 2 year old Kickstarter, they plan on releasing the extra footage in segments, once a week.
The update reads:
"First, we apologize, this communication is long overdue. We thank you for patiently waiting for the “Unreleased Tapes” aka “Bronies 2.” Our plan was to finish all the segments and then release them in a nice big bundle. Unfortunately, that task has proved daunting due to the time intensive care each segment has required and our limited resources. We don’t want to delay any longer, so we we’ve decided to start releasing a segment each week starting today. After they have all been released, we will ship the DVD’s and other merch backers are entitled to receive. The first video, starring John Joseco is here.
First up is the story of John Joseco. Explore the history behind one of the most prolific artists to contribute to the Brony fandom, and see how his military family heritage and his father's legacy have influenced his art.
The segment is released on our YouTube Channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qalUjy485Bg Enjoy and we’ll see you next week with a new segment.
Best, Michael Brockhoff and the BronyDoc team."
Does this mean that digital sales of the Documentary did better than they anticipated?
What other segments are we going to see? Will we see our favorite characters and disturbed parents again? Will we ever see John DeLancie or Lauren Faust again? Most importantly:
