Hasbro declares Discord more of a friend than Spike by

Continuing their now time-honored tradition of fucking up miserably, the My Little Pony / Hasbro social media managers dropped the ball again yesterday, releasing this image, signifying Discord as being of greater importance than Spike the Dragon.
In an effort to tie all the names of the main-friends together and promote the "Rainbow" branding, the MLP Facebook page decided to use Twilight's last name, instead of including Spike at all. This of course upset just about anybody with any sense of decency or human emotion. An edit was made by a fan, showing how goddamned simple it is.

The Hasbro social media managers fucking up is hardly a new thing. Earlier this season they advised all their followers to give up on their dreams, instead of following them.

Good job, this sort of thing wouldnt happen if the Dan vs guy was in charge.

Shit.

  1. Wait, what the fuck. That 'give up on your dreams' thing was real?

Damn, I missed some good shit when my computer went out didn't I? And here I thought it was a joke.

They really need to find a new social networking PR, holy shit.

  7. Oh, so NOW we care about Spike? Y'know, after how every Spike episode concludes with the whole fandom collectively agreeing for the Nth time that all Spike episodes are shit and Spike is the worst character, I'm not fucking surprised that people consider Discord more important. If I didn't know better, I'd take this as a sign of Hasbro listening to the fandom.

"YOU DID THIS, PEOPLE. YOU DID THIS."

    1. I don't mind Spike as a character, his episodes are just really dull, with maybe two exceptions.
